Cologne, Germany — with Aysegul and Jerfi
I build things at the intersection of technology, philosophy, and creativity.
By day, I'm a Frontend Developer at CUBONIC, building interfaces for robotics and automation systems. By night, I run NeuraByte Labs — my AI and software company exploring ideas at the edge of what's possible.
// Background
Hello, I'm Mustafa Saraç. I've been working in web design and development since 1995. I completed my master's degree in Information Technologies at Sabancı University.
Throughout my career, I worked for leading companies in Turkey. At İzlesene — Turkey's largest video platform — I conducted UX research, designed interfaces, and led a frontend team of five. Later at IHS, I served as a senior software developer and project manager, contributing to the development of fcase orchestrator (fraud.com).
Since 2020, my wife Ayşegül, our son Jerfi, and I have been living in Cologne, Germany. This journey has given me the opportunity to encounter different cultures and ways of working.
// NeuraByte Labs
In December 2025, I officially registered NeuraByte Labs as a company in Germany. It's where I explore the intersection of AI, philosophy, and practical software.
I'm currently working on several projects that I'll share once they're ready. In the meantime, you can check out my experiments page for creative projects and prototypes.
// Philosophy & AI
I'm deeply fascinated by the intersection of philosophy and artificial intelligence. Spinoza's concept of conatus — the drive to persist in being — inspires much of my work.
I follow AI developments closely, experiment with open-source models, and explore how these technologies can enhance human flourishing rather than replace human judgment.
// Beyond Code
I've been playing drums as an amateur for 15 years and recently picked up the cajón. I'm part of a small music band, and we give occasional concerts.
I love cycling and walking. During these activities, my mind opens up, and I generate my best ideas. I keep a daily journal, read books, and research time management and personal knowledge management (PKM).
I have a tendency to think quickly and respond promptly — sometimes too quickly. But my determination to finish what I start is one of my favorite qualities.
// Connect
I always enjoy sharing experiences in technology, design, music, and personal development. Feel free to reach out.
